The New York Yankees, coming off a sweep at home of the Cincinnati Reds, will be looking to keep up their momentum to start the second half. Sadly for the Bronx Bombers, they will be without First Baseman, Mark Teixeria for likely the upcoming series with the Texas Rangers. Teixeira has been diagnosed with a lat strain that will keep him sidelined for the next 3-4 days. The good news is that the Yankees don't expect that he will need time on the disabled list, as his 17 homeruns would be dearly missed in the middle of the order if he was out for an extended period of time.
