The New York Mets received great news on Wednesday that their ace Matt Harvey, who is recovering from Tommy-John surgery. Harvey got the go ahead to start throwing from a mound sometime next week. The news does however basically confirm that he will not be pitching in the major leagues at all this season. Harvey himself wanted to be on a mound in June, but the organization is taking the super safe road with Harvey, as he is a major piece for their future, and the Mets of course want to make sure their are "Happy Harvey Days" for years to come.
