On Monday evening the Brooklyn Nets and Guard/Forward Alan Anderson have reached an agreement for Anderson to be returning to the Nets on a two-year $2.6 million dollar contract with the second year being a player option.

Last season for the Nets, Anderson was an important part of the rotation, averaging 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. With the departure of Paul Pierce to Washington, Anderson may find his role expanded for the Nets in 2014-15, as him and or Andrei Kirilenko will likely be in the starting lineup at Small Forward for Lionel Hollins.
